[Introduction]
"Hassan and Morkos"
The film revolves around Boulos, a Christian Theologian and Mahmoud, a Muslim Sheikh who survive separate assassination attempts by the religious extremists on both sides. Now on the run, the two men are placed into a witness protection program by the Egyptian government. The friendship blossoms between Boulous and Mahmoud - who don't know each other ? when they take a refuge in a safe house in downtown Cairo neighborhood assuming different identities, with Christian pretending to be a Muslim and Muslim as a Christian. The film emphasizes the possibility of friendship and love between members of different religions.
