[Introduction]
Policemen inspect a remote house, where an incident took place. Gradually, interrogation with the testifying suspect sheds light on the gruesome truth. A crime drama ridden with alcohol and chaos, peppered with black humor.

[Synopsis]
Fall of 1978: an accidental traveler (Srodon) stops and stays overnight at the farm house in the remote area of Poland. Soon he and his hosts (Dziabas and his wife) become good comrades. Yet, the evening ends with tragic events. Simultaneously we are witnessing the actions of the police investigating team which, in the realities of Communist Poland under the Martial Law, is trying to solve the mystery of what happened on the night four years earlier. Lieutenant Mroz discovers that uncovering the truth is immaterial for his superiors, as they are trying to hide a different crime.
