Competition Guide: ACACIA – "I felt the make of masterpiece, few shots past the opening scene!"
Masterpieces of the world compete for the Tokyo Sakura Grand Prix in the Competition section. PD, Yoshi Yatabe who selected 15 finals for competition out of 743 films from 81 countries and regions will showcase the main features in this web series.
ACACIA is the only Japanese film entry in the Competition section and will be a first film in six years for Director, Jinsei Tsuji.
Not only did Antonio Inoki show his strong sense of presence, but also the ensemble of cinematography, music, acting and directing in the film was wonderfully done.
