[Synopsis]
This is a semi biographic film, spanning from the time of the creation of the State of Israel until now. In 1948 during the final hours before the surrender of Nazareth, Fuad, a member of the Palestinian resistance, had to be separated from his love, Thurayya, who escaped to Jordan with her family. As years pass, Nazareth was under martial law. Fuad was forced to leave his homeland and his family. Today, Elia, Fuad’s son, comes back to Narareth and struggles to make sense of the reality that has been widely changed from what he remembered.
